Is Bella Jealous of My Laptop?

It's Scott here, and today I want to talk about something that's been on my mind lately - whether or not Bella is jealous of my laptop computer.

As a writer, I spend a lot of time on my laptop, typing away at my latest sci-fi novel. And sometimes, I can't help but notice that Bella seems to be giving me the stink-eye while I'm working.

I'll be tapping away at the keys, lost in my own world, when I'll look over and see Bella glaring at me from across the room. It's as if she's resentful of the attention that I'm giving to that shiny piece of machinery.

Of course, I know that Bella loves me and that she's not actually jealous of my laptop. But sometimes, I can't help but wonder if she feels left out or neglected when I'm working.

To try and alleviate her possible feelings of neglect, I've started taking regular breaks from my work to give her some attention. I'll put down the laptop, get down on the floor, and play with her for a while, or cuddle her on my lap and give her a good brushing.

And you know what? It seems to be working. Bella's mood has improved, and she's been more affectionate towards me lately.

It just goes to show that even though our pets can't talk, they have feelings too. And sometimes, we need to take a step back from our screens and give them the attention they deserve.
