Chess has enabled me to meet and interact with people, both in the flesh at all ages locally, in the UK and around the world - and online with similar vast ranges. For each individual, Chess has equipped them with a unique prism through which they can view the world, or a tool that allows them to fine tune the world away from that lens. Only a few pastimes hold this tremendous amount of quality - clarity and versatility of power and scope of creativity in a game that can even be played without a board between two talented people from different points of any distance apart around the globe whilst not even seeing each other using technological means. Incredible - and to think, AI is even better at it - what does 'their' Prism allow them to see?
